Robert began his professional career working as a Network Technician in 1997. He was responsible for performing a full range of support duties including telephone helpdesk support, undertaking repairs on computer hardware and management of a fileserver backup system.
As his skills and knowledge developed, Robert's career progressed through promotion. In 2003 he became responsible for managing the I.T network at Energy Solutions International providing on-site and remote support for 5 international offices. In addition to this, his UK office responsibilities included developing and improving the I.T infrastructure, managing the I.T budget, ensuring network security through the installation of software updates, management of the network firewall and anti-malware systems, performing system backups and writing/maintaining I.T policies.
